Musik ist für ihn keine Sprache, die der Kommunikation außermusikalischer Inhalte dient, sie ist ein freies, für sich stehendes akustisches Objekt. In seinen Arbeiten wird Klang hörend erforscht und ihm wird die Möglichkeit gegeben, seine ihm innewohnende Schönheit zu entfalten. Wenn Klang nur Klang ist und auf nichts Anderes verweisen soll, dann wird er als das wahrnehmbar, was er eigentlich ist, nämlich als ein zeitliches Phänomen, als hörbare Zeit.
