she focuses different aspects in contemporary composition: instrumental timbre, recorded sounds, improvisation, and design temporal structure, think within and beyond the convention - rationality, sensitivity, fragility, spontaneousness, and indeterminacy, The process of creation itself, becomes the compositional code. she uses professional software: finale, ableton Live, reaper & ...

she STUDIED at Shanghai Middle School of Music attached to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, teacher: Miao YUE, National University of Singapore teacher: Peter Ivan Edwards, and at the Kunstuniversität Graz teacher: Klaus Lang and Beat Furrer. During her study, she collaborated with musician and ensemble, YANG Xun, Stephanie Schoiswohl, Maria Mogas, Wyatt Wakefield, Alyssa Aska, Dakota Wayne, Teresa Doblinger, Danny Imson, Jose Luis Martinez M., ensemble TIMF, PPCM der KUG (students of klangforum wien), ensemble Schallfeld, ensemble zeitfluss, facere collective... Her music works were performed in new music concert and festival in Singapore, Germany, Austria, Norway, Croatia..

 

After graduation, she founded x.sounding LAB with philosopher & composer Jose Luis Martinez M., which focuses on contemporary music and sound/audio-visual art.
